What is Teens for Life?
Mission Statement:
To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ
and honor Him in all that we do; to educate the public, especially
the youth of this nation, on the hidden truth of abortion; to
challenge young people to take a stand against the killing of
unborn babies and to equip them with effective skills to lead
the next generation away from death.
What we're all about
In a world where kids shoot each other at schools, teens commit
suicide, and the weak and elderly are abused, it's obvious that
human life doesn't have much value. In a world like this, people
don't understand why life is important. Without thinking, we
often disregard the rights of others, especially those who can't
stand up for their own rights. It's no wonder that we have problems
like racism and school killings.
We must take a stand for the value of every human life, because
all life is precious: beginning with the life of the unborn.
We believe that because our society has allowed abortion, we
have lost respect for all human life.
We believe that young people -- the people of next generation
-- have the power to end abortion in America, if they have the
determination and the focus. Teens for Life is committed to
helping young people acheive this goal. Teens for Life provides
many opportunities for pro-life activism in the Sacramento area,
such as weekly training sessions, pro-life outreaches at local
high schools and junior high schools, and regular events which
promote life in Sacramento communities.
